About The Event

Connected Communities is joining with licensed psychologist, Dr. Paul Malone to present a lunch and learn experience focused on caring for loved ones with cognitive impacts. Dr. Malone will share his experience working with patients and families, as well as share his personal journey and how he has applied creative techniques in his own life.

ABOUT DR. MALONE

Dr. Malone earned his Ph.D. in psychology at the University of Houston 49 years ago. He is a licensed clinical psychologist in Virginia. Originally from Houston, Texas (a city of 4 million), he moved to Urbanna (a town of 489) seven years ago.

He has had a wide ranging career, including college professor, director of a federal research project, staff psychologist at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, business management consultant, general manager of a technology development company, Vice President for business development at a telecommunications company, administrator of a community based mental health program, and he still maintains a private practice in Urbanna today.
